    What is the role of the Axial Fan Vpwm?

    In order to meet more needs of axial fan customers, the company developed a series of superior performance, more unique functions to meet the different needs of customers. This function uses an external variable DC voltage signal to control the speed of the axial-flow fan. The voltage input "Vin" can be anywhere from 1V to 20V (standard value is 1V to 5V) . The axial fan speed will change linearly with the change of "Vin" value, and the fan speed will reach the maximum when the "Vin" value reaches the maximum. Customers choose VPWM function after the fan will be equipped with CS-constant speed function, IR-impulse current protection, CL (current limiting) function. In addition, VPWM will follow the additional identification bar code, such as: v 1520100C 500, "v"-means the input signal is VPWM. "15"-Represents the two most significant voltage points (i. e. , 1 V, 5 v) . "20,100"-Represents the two most significant RPM's (20% of full speed, 100% of full speed) . The above "1520100" means the axial flow fan rotating speed is 1000RPM when the input VPWM signal is 1V, and 5000RPM when the VPWM signal is 5V. "C"-means that VPWM curve mode is c mode, c mode is special in that when Vin is less than 1V, the fan runs at the lowest speed, and when Vin is less than 0.5, the axial flow fan stops working. The last number encoded, "500" , is the maximum speed of the fan divided by 10, from which the maximum speed of the fan can be calculated (i.e. 500 * 10 = 5000 RPM) .
