What is the starting voltage of the DC fan?

    Date:2020/4/17 Views:2269 【BACK】
The starting voltage of the DC fan depends on the following two points: 1. This minimum voltage must provide sufficient and continuous bias voltage to the fan control circuit. This minimum voltage must be higher than the trigger voltage of the output driver. For example: single-chip microcomputer (MCU) working conditions is 5V / 10mA, then the power supply voltage must be higher than 5V, plus 3V for the Supply Voltage stabilizer bias voltage. That means at least 8V. A lower voltage may allow the fan to run, but this does not mean that the DC fan can meet all the specifications. The minimum operating voltage should be set to: 15%-20% less than the rated voltage, the maximum operating voltage can be controlled by the CS function, and with low efficiency loss. However, additional power consumption is added, which is equal to: (maximum operating voltage-rated voltage) offset current. For single-function DC fans (no functional PWM function) , to achieve the lowest power loss, DC fans can provide the following voltage range: 1, rated voltage 12V fan, available operating voltage range: 07-14V. 2. Fan Rated Voltage 24V, operating voltage range available: 15-27V. 3. A fan rated at 48V can provide an operating voltage range of 36v-57v v. This is the starting voltage of DC fan introduced by Dong Xing Yue. We can provide a wider range of operating voltage according to customers'special requirements.
